This 1968 nautical chart of the Westport River and its approaches, on the Massachusetts and Rhode Island shore, is U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey chart 237, drawn at 1:20,000 with soundings in feet. Putty-colored farmland is crossed only by thin road lines, while the river's two branches spread in pale blue among darker marsh islands.

Lettered on the sheet are Westport Point, Adamsville, Acoaxet, Central Village, South Westport, Russells Mills and Apponaganset, with the West Branch, East Branch, Westport Harbor, Slocums River and Quicksand, Richmond and Allens ponds. Horseneck Beach runs out to Gooseberry Neck, with Barneys Joy Point, Mishaum Point and the Hen and Chickens nearby. A dashed line marks the state boundary.

Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, ensuring your vintage nautical chart will maintain its maritime heritage for generations.

Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece — the print will always be richer.

Our prints are produced to museum standards. Each piece is printed on premium heavyweight archival matte paper (325gsm), the same quality used in museums and galleries, giving rich color, deep blacks, and excellent detail.
