This 1875 Townsend, Massachusetts map print shows the town in a pale hand-brushed sage wash on soft ivory paper, with West Townsend, Townsend Harbor and the Squannacook River.
The map names Barker Hill, West Hill, Townsend Hill, Ash Swamp and Harbor Pond, and an inset enlarges Townsend Harbor. New Hampshire, Ashby, Lunenburg, Shirley, Groton and Pepperell are lettered along the borders.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
Our prints are produced to museum standards. Each piece is printed on premium heavyweight archival matte paper (325gsm), the same quality used in museums and galleries, giving rich color, deep blacks, and excellent detail.
