Thalamophora (Kammerlinge) is Plate 2 of Ernst Haeckel's Kunstformen der Natur, 1904, lithographed by Adolf Giltsch after Haeckel's design. It shows foraminifera, single-celled organisms with chambered shells, drawn in cream-white and grey on a black field.
Globigerina, a rounded shell bristling with fine radiating threads, sits at the centre of the black field. Around it, in an oval ring, are spiral snail-like shells, tapering chambered cones, a star-shaped form with spiny rays, a flat ridged disc and a coiled, many-chambered rosette. The header reads "Haeckel, Kunstformen der Natur" and "Tafel 2 — Globigerina"; the caption reads "Thalamophora. — Kammerlinge."
