This vintage Snowy Heron print reproduces John James Audubon's illustration from Birds of America, plate 242, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries, and natural history collections.
A white egret stands among low marsh plants, its fine plumes flowing behind it. A slender dark bill and yellow feet provide small accents against the pale feathers and distant waterside landscape.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
Our prints are produced to museum standards. Each piece is printed on premium heavyweight archival matte paper (325gsm), the same quality used in museums and galleries, giving rich color, deep blacks, and excellent detail.
