A vintage French poster by Leonetto Cappiello, dated 1907, for Shampoing du Dr Roja. A seated woman in a green shawl and red skirt holds a small bottle while her red hair streams across the sheet toward a man in a yellow waistcoat, on a navy-black ground.
The man has red hair and a moustache and raises one hand as if in surprise, while a bentwood chair stands at the right. Large yellow capitals across the top read SHAMPOING DU Dr ROJA. Red lettering at the right states that it is made with Norwegian tar and aromatic plants, and a line along the bottom says it is found in department stores, perfumers and hairdressers.
Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, preserving the detail and character of the original for generations.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece — the print will always be richer.
Our prints are produced to museum standards. Each piece is printed on premium heavyweight archival matte paper (325gsm), the same quality used in museums and galleries, giving rich color, deep blacks, and excellent detail.
