Richard T. James's U.S. Patent 2,415,012, granted January 28, 1947, documents a toy and process of use. The sheet is headed R. T. James, Toy and Process of Use, records an application filed August 21, 1946, and is marked sheet 1 of 3 sheets.
Fig. 1 shows a tall coil of closely wound flat strip, and Fig. 2 a curved length of the strip with a small end detail in Fig. 12a. Fig. 6 shows a table edge with two coils standing on it and dotted arcs tracing a coil's path. Figs. 8 and 9 are small mechanical diagrams. Numerals label the parts, and the inventor and attorneys sign at the foot.

We’ll provide a full refund, and U.S. clients will receive a prepaid return label.
