White Heron Audubon Bird Print - Plate 386

This Audubon bird print reproduces plate 386 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America. The original engraving names the bird White Heron and depicts the male in spring plumage.
A white-plumed heron bends its long neck toward a Horned Agama among pale rocks, with tall reeds rising behind it. The sweep of its delicate breeding plumes contrasts with the lizard's textured scales and the dark green vegetation. The original folio, plate number, species caption and engraved credits remain visible.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
Our prints are produced to museum standards. Each piece is printed on premium heavyweight archival matte paper (325gsm), the same quality used in museums and galleries, giving rich color, deep blacks, and excellent detail.
