This vintage Pine Finch print reproduces plate 180 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, a quiet study of two birds in a pine bough.
One pale, finely streaked finch and one darker bird turn downward among long blue-green needles and clusters of warm golden cones. The open composition preserves the plate number above and the original Pine Finch caption and engraving credits below.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
Our prints are produced to museum standards. Each piece is printed on premium heavyweight archival matte paper (325gsm), the same quality used in museums and galleries, giving rich color, deep blacks, and excellent detail.
