This 1901 Peru map print shows the country's departments in pale tints along the Pacific coast, with the Andes in shaded relief and a region marked La Montana, or Region of Woods, to the east.
Departments including Piura, Cajamarca, Junin, Lima, Ayacucho, Arequipa and Puno are lettered in bold across the map, and the Pacific Ocean is spelled out along the coast. "Map of Peru" and a scale of miles sit at lower left.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
Our prints are produced to museum standards. Each piece is printed on premium heavyweight archival matte paper (325gsm), the same quality used in museums and galleries, giving rich color, deep blacks, and excellent detail.
