This twentieth-century nautical chart of the North Shore of Massachusetts, running from Revere to Amesbury, is drawn with soundings in feet at mean low water. It follows the coast past Cape Ann to the Merrimack River. Olive land and pale water give the sheet the calm, practical look of a working mariner's chart.
Lettered on the sheet are Newburyport, Ipswich, Rockport, Gloucester, Manchester, Beverly, Salem, Marblehead and Revere, with Ipswich Bay, Essex Bay, Nahant Bay, Cape Ann, Plum Island, Castle Neck and the Merrimack River. Tide tables for Portsmouth, Newburyport, Rockport, Gloucester, Salem, Boston and Provincetown fill the left side, with radiobeacon signals and abbreviations below.
Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, ensuring your vintage nautical chart will maintain its maritime heritage for generations.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece — the print will always be richer.
Our prints are produced to museum standards. Each piece is printed on premium heavyweight archival matte paper (325gsm), the same quality used in museums and galleries, giving rich color, deep blacks, and excellent detail.
