This 1777 topographical map print of Narragansett Bay reproduces the bay chart associated with Charles Blaskowitz and William Faden, centered on Rhode Island and Conanicut Island.
A large scrolled title cartouche crowns the sheet, with Providence Bay and Mount Hope Bay lettered across the water. Soundings, shoals, hachured relief and red battery markings fill the chart, with reference lists for batteries and principal places.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
Our prints are produced to museum standards. Each piece is printed on premium heavyweight archival matte paper (325gsm), the same quality used in museums and galleries, giving rich color, deep blacks, and excellent detail.
