This is a black and white photograph print of dark ocean waves beneath thick fog, in a square format. The water fills nearly the whole frame, toned in deep greys, and the horizon is lost in mist at the top.
Low swells roll toward the viewer across the middle of the picture, their crests catching thin lines of white foam. In the lower foreground the water is almost black, and foam spreads across it in fine, lacy patterns. The sky and distance dissolve into pale grey fog. The tones run from deep black to soft grey, and no land, boats or people are in view.
Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, preserving the detail and character of the original for generations.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece — the print will always be richer.
Our prints are produced to museum standards. Each piece is printed on premium heavyweight archival matte paper (325gsm), the same quality used in museums and galleries, giving rich color, deep blacks, and excellent detail.
