This 1969 nautical chart of Los Angeles and Long Beach Harbors, California, is U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey chart 5147, drawn at 1:12,000 with soundings in feet. Tan land is ruled with street grids and comb-like piers, a grey-green flood channel cuts through Long Beach, and the harbor water stays near white, blue-grey only in the shallows.
Lettered on the sheet are Los Angeles, Wilmington, San Pedro, East San Pedro and Long Beach, with San Pedro Bay, the Outer Harbor, Main Channel, Cerritos Channel, West Basin, Fish Harbor and Long Beach Outer Harbor. Terminal Island, Reservation Point, Cabrillo Beach and Point Fermin line the harbor. The Vincent Thomas Bridge spans the Main Channel, and Islands A, B and D sit offshore, ringed by lighted markers.
Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, ensuring your vintage nautical chart will maintain its maritime heritage for generations.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece — the print will always be richer.
Our prints are produced to museum standards. Each piece is printed on premium heavyweight archival matte paper (325gsm), the same quality used in museums and galleries, giving rich color, deep blacks, and excellent detail.
