An archival reproduction of Lyra from Johann Bayer's Uranometria (1603). The hand-colored plate shows a golden lyre carried by a dark-brown eagle against deep navy, with a cream band across the lower left and a gold edge line.

The bird has its wings spread and its head turned to one side, with a red ribbon fluttering above, and holds a strung gold lyre whose crossbar ends in white-tipped pegs. A gold star hangs at the right end of the crossbar. Two pale blue lines slant across the plate, a handful of gold stars sit in the open navy, and a jagged cream band crosses the lower left corner.

Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, preserving the detail and character of the original for generations.

Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece — the print will always be richer.

Our prints are produced to museum standards. Each piece is printed on premium heavyweight archival matte paper (325gsm), the same quality used in museums and galleries, giving rich color, deep blacks, and excellent detail.
