This 1889 JOB Cigarette Papers poster by French artist Jane Atché is a restored vintage advertising print from the Belle Époque, reproduced as museum-quality wall art on heavyweight archival matte paper.
The original poster advertises Papier à Cigarettes JOB and carries the Hors Concours Paris 1889 line, placing it in the world of late-19th-century French commercial lithography. Atché was one of the notable women working in poster design at the time, and this composition shows why the era's advertising art became collectible: a profile figure, a sweeping dark cape, restrained color, and typography that turns a tobacco-paper advertisement into a graphic object.
Look closely and the poster still reads like an archival artifact, not generic decor. The JOB lettering, the Paris 1889 reference, the J. Atché signature, and the printer line for Cassan Fils connect the image to the print culture of Toulouse and Paris, where illustrated posters were becoming part of everyday street life.

Returns
We want you to be fully satisfied with your artwork. If you feel your art isn’t the right fit for your home, you may initiate a return within 14 days of purchase. We’ll provide a full refund, and U.S. clients will receive a prepaid return label.
