This 1958 nautical chart of the Florida Keys from Sombrero Key to Sand Key was issued by the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey for the Gulf Coast of Florida. Sand-colored islands and olive-green flats scatter through a broad band of pale blue shallows, which opens onto pale open water and scattered soundings toward the Straits of Florida.
The Lower Keys string across the sheet from Key West and Boca Chica Key at the left past the Saddlebunch Keys to Big Pine Key, with Sombrero Key at the right. The Gulf of Mexico lies above the islands, the reef line and American Shoal run along the Straits of Florida below, and compass roses sit in the open water.
Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, ensuring your vintage nautical chart will maintain its maritime heritage for generations.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece — the print will always be richer.
Our prints are produced to museum standards. Each piece is printed on premium heavyweight archival matte paper (325gsm), the same quality used in museums and galleries, giving rich color, deep blacks, and excellent detail.
