Chicago in Flames presents the front page of New-York Tribune, dated October 10, 1871. The Great Chicago Fire, reported while the city was still burning.
The original masthead, tightly set columns and period typography surround the page's coverage of Chicago in Flames. The complete layout preserves the visual rhythm of daily journalism, including the smaller notices and advertisements that make the page feel immediate and lived in.
Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, preserving the detail and character of the original for generations.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece — the print will always be richer.
Our prints are produced to museum standards. Each piece is printed on premium heavyweight archival matte paper (325gsm), the same quality used in museums and galleries, giving rich color, deep blacks, and excellent detail.
