Cafés Labrador is a poster by Leonetto Cappiello, from 1905, for a coffee brand with its works at Le Havre. A monkey dressed as a gentleman, in a blue coat, red knee breeches and a plumed hat, holds up a box of the coffee and a long cane against a deep navy ground. Yellow capitals name the brand at the foot.
The monkey wears lace cuffs and a lace jabot with a red rosette on its lapel, and its curled tail trails behind. The box in its raised hand is lettered Cafés Labrador. To the left, blue letters read EXIGER LA BOÎTE CACHETÉE. Below, yellow capitals spell CAFÉS LABRADOR, and a line in red and yellow gives USINE ÉLECTRIQUE : 7, RUE THIEBAUT, LE HÂVRE. Cappiello's signature is at the upper left.
