Bouillon Kub is a landscape-format poster by Leonetto Cappiello, dated 1931, for Kub bouillon cubes. A black ox head with long horns faces the viewer against a mottled golden-yellow ground, and a red carton lettered Bouillon Kub is set beside its eye.
The head is a flat black silhouette with a single white highlight at the eye, wide ears, and horns sweeping out toward both edges. The product is shown as a small red carton with gold lettering reading BOUILLON KUB. There is no other text on the sheet. The background is a warm ochre with faint swirling brushwork, and Cappiello's signature and the date 1931 sit at the lower right.
Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, preserving the detail and character of the original for generations.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece — the print will always be richer.
Our prints are produced to museum standards. Each piece is printed on premium heavyweight archival matte paper (325gsm), the same quality used in museums and galleries, giving rich color, deep blacks, and excellent detail.
