Angelus Liqueur is a poster by Leonetto Cappiello, from 1907, for a liqueur made by the Salesians of Dom Bosco. A boy in a red cassock and cap swings below a large bronze bell against a deep navy ground, reaching up toward the clapper.
The bell is seen from below, its mouth a dark oval ringed with gold. The boy has a white sash at the waist and white cuffs, and he stretches both arms up toward a small spark of light at the clapper. Gold capitals spell ANGELUS across the top, with LIQUEUR to the left and DES SALÉSIENS DE DOM BOSCO in green along the foot. Cappiello's signature sits to the right of the figure.
Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, preserving the detail and character of the original for generations.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece — the print will always be richer.
Our prints are produced to museum standards. Each piece is printed on premium heavyweight archival matte paper (325gsm), the same quality used in museums and galleries, giving rich color, deep blacks, and excellent detail.
