This 19th-century Amsterdam, Netherlands map print shows the canal-ringed city inside its star-shaped ramparts, with the Amstel running in at the right and the docks lining the water along the top.
An inset, Plan of the Environs of Amsterdam, shows the Zuider Zee and the Y at upper centre. Nieuw Westelyk Dok, Nieuw Oostelyk Dok and the Plantagie are lettered, and a row of elevations along the foot compares principal buildings.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
Our prints are produced to museum standards. Each piece is printed on premium heavyweight archival matte paper (325gsm), the same quality used in museums and galleries, giving rich color, deep blacks, and excellent detail.
